Just off the Blue Ridge Parkway you will find the quiet town of Blowing Rock.  The town gets its name from The Blowing Rock which boasts breathtaking views of the surrounding forests and rivers.  A visit to the Cone Memorial Park is like taking a walk through history with the preserved mansion from 1901.  Appalachian Ski Mountain is also located in Blowing Rock if you are a fan of winter sports and Tweetsie Railroad is a walk down history lane and fun for all ages.


Asheville, NC

Rich with arts and community Asheville is another exciting part of the Blue Ridge Mountains.  This city is updated with tons of walkable entertainment like galleries and museums.  It is also home to UNC Asheville.  The college is know for its performing arts department and is a great place to check out a show or play.  The Biltmore House offers different perspectives each season from the blooming summer gardens to the wonder of the glorious Christmas decor.
